Kate has over six years’ experience working in publicity and publishing and as Account Director works primarily across books, events and entertainment accounts with clients including Head of Zeus, Private Eye Annual, Cambridge University Press and Henley Festival as well as independent authors. Recent highlights include working on the relaunch of the Queen’s Park Book Festival in Summer 2018 which boasted headline speakers including Zadie Smith and Eleanor Catton.
Prior to joining Midas, Kate worked at Authoright PR where she headed the UK publicity team working alongside traditional publishers (including Little Brown, Hachette, History Press and Watkins) and with independent authors managing book publicity campaigns for both debut and bestselling authors across a wide variety of genres.
A graduate in History and French from the University of Birmingham, Kate has a keen interest in both translated fiction and non-fiction as well as exploring new museums, galleries and historic cities. In her spare time she also writes opinion pieces on modern life for The Huffington Post.
