Your chance to get published / Mills & Boon launches New Voices competition
Today, leading romance publisher Mills & Boon launches the ‘X-Factor’ for fiction, a global search for a talented new author to join their galaxy of romantic fiction stars. Judged by Heat editor and author Sam Delaney and Sunday Times bestselling author Penny Jordan, New Voices is a celebration of writing and romance, and an unprecedented opportunity to be published by Mills & Boon.
Hosted at www.romanceisnotdead.com, aspiring authors will need to submit the first chapter of their Mills & Boon novel for a chance at winning the ultimate prize of seeing their book published by Mills & Boon, an editor for a year and an Apple iPad. The winner will be chosen by public vote and a panel of judges.
Skip the ‘slushpile’
Mills & Boon receive over 2,000 unsolicited manuscripts every year, yet barely 20 ever achieve publication.
Mills & Boon New Voices is an incredible opportunity for unpublished romance writers to join the worldwide community of Mills & Boon writers.
