The Reading Agency appoints Midas Public Relations to promote Quick Reads 2020

Midas Public Relations, the UK’s leading independent communications agency for books, publishing, culture and the arts, has been appointed by The Reading Agency to promote Quick Reads 2020 following a competitive pitch.

Quick Reads aims to bring the pleasures and benefits of reading to everyone by commissioning big name authors to write bitesize, engaging books that are specifically designed to be easy to read. From 2020 – 2022, the initiative is supported by a philanthropic gift from bestselling author Jojo Moyes. The 2020 titles will be announced in the autumn and published in February 2020.

Midas PR will deliver a high-profile media campaign that generates widespread consumer awareness of the Quick Reads 2020 titles, demonstrates how the scheme changes lives, and the role it plays in addressing the national crisis around adult literacy in the UK.
