Publication of Coffin Road by Peter May

Sunday Times Bestselling Author Peter May today publishes his new thriller Coffin Road (Quercus).

Peter May has sold several million copies of his books worldwide and is best known for The Lewis Trilogy, set up in the Hebrides; the first book in the series, The Blackhouse, was chosen as a Richard and Judy summer read. Peter is Quercus’s bestselling (living) novelist after Stieg Larssen.

His latest novel begins when a man washes up on a deserted beach on the Hebridean Isle of Harris. Half-drowned and frozen to the bone, the man suddenly realises: he has absolutely no idea who he is. A passerby helps him to his home, although it’s like entering the house of a stranger, and over the next few days he tries to piece his life back together. And then he finds the dead body and a dark question clouds his mind: did he murder this man?
