Publication of Jerusalem Ablaze

Today Midas join Cloud Lodge Books in celebrating the publication of their first book; Jerusalem Ablaze: Stories of Love and Other Obsessions by Orlando Ortega-Medina.

Jerusalem Ablaze collects thirteen eclectic works of dark fiction, taking the reader from Los Angeles to the eastern townships of Quebec, and from Tokyo to Jerusalem. The collection has already received outstanding reviews. Author, Christopher Fowler, described the collection as “atmospheric and enticingly mysterious”. Bookmuch online called the book “what all the best fiction should be” and The Girly Book Club praised the book for its “dark evaluations of some of life’s biggest questions”.

Orlando is an immigration lawyer who has lived in California, Quebec and now resides in Kensington. Jerusalem Ablaze is his first publication.

Orlando will be in conversation with Douglas Anderson on Wednesday 22nd February at Waterstones Kensington.
