Publication Day for Bob Marshall-Andrews – Camille and the Lost Diaries of Samuel Pepys

Congratulations to author Bob Marshall-Andrews’ on the release of Camille and the Lost Diaries of Samuel Pepys!

In the vein of Colm Tóibín’s The Master, Marshall-Andrews’ stunning third novel narrates the fictional lost memoirs of iconic diarist Samuel Pepys, as told by his fugitive amanuensis, Camille. As Pepys and the eponymous Camille make their way back to Paris by request of the King, an improbable literary love story unfolds in an atmosphere of danger, revenge and political intrigue. Camille’s narrative reflects the essential Pepysian spirit of the age combining, humour, music, art, political danger and bawdry.

To celebrate the release of his book Bob will be in conversation with the Rt Hon David Davis MP on the evening on 24th February at Waterstones . Catch Bob talking about his new book on BBC Radio 4 Loose Ends this Saturday at 6:15pm.
