Peter May Goes Straight in at No 2

I’ll Keep You Safe, the latest bestseller by Peter May, was published as a lead title by Quercus last week to a fantastic reception, reaching number 2 in the bestseller chart after just 3 days of sales.

Peter has been on an events tour of the UK this week, starting at Lews Castle in the Hebrides, an area that features heavily in I’ll Keep You Safe. He has had sell out events, with audiences of up to 400, in Inverness, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth, with Sussex and Nottingham to come next week.

With key interviews on the BBC News Channel’s ‘Meet the Author’ and Radio 4’s ‘Today’ Programme, and widespread review coverage and features running over the length of the tour, this has resulted in I’ll Keep You Safe earning Peter the number 2 spot on the Sunday Times Bestseller list, his highest charting to date.
