Midas Public Relations wins contract for Viz 30th Anniversary
Midas Public Relations has been successful in winning the pitch from Dennis Publishing for the 30th anniversary of Viz magazine, launching summer 2009.
The brief includes profile raising of the iconic Viz brand both to the business-to-business and consumer sectors, a national PR campaign to support a unique exhibition of Viz characters and artwork launching in November and a focused PR campaign around the nation’s favourite, Viz comic book annual Council Gritter published in August. Midas created and ran the campaign for Roger Mellie’s Profanisaurus The Magna Farta, which led to increased sales and received widespread national press, magazine and radio coverage.
