London Book Fair Masterclasses announced / Tickets on sale now
Midas Public Relations is delighted to announce two panels of experts who are to host the 2010 London Book Fair’s Masterclasses: How to Get Published and How to Write for Screen: Film & TV. The panels feature an impressive array of speakers who have made their mark on the publishing and screenwriting world.
How to Get Published features multi award-winning author Meg Rosoff, who found critical acclaim with her first novel How I Live Now scooping the Guardian’s Children’s Fiction Prize amongst others. Also appearing is Orange prize-winning author of We Need to Talk About Kevin Lionel Shriver and publisher Mark Booth from Hodder & Stoughton.
How to Write for Screen will include author and TV/film writer David Nicholls, whose first novel Starter for Ten was chosen for the Richard and Judy Book Club and was adapted into a worldwide cinema release. He is also known for the cult sitcom Cold Feet and his more recent BBC adaptation of Tess of the D’Urbervilles. The Masterclass will also feature Paul Ashton, Development Producer at BBC Writersroom and Julian Friedmann of the Blake Friedman Literary Agency.
