Latitude 2012 Goes Off With A Bang!

Latitude 2012 came to a close on 16th July after headline-grabbing headline sets from Bon Iver, Elbow and Paul Weller.

The seventh edition of the UK’s favourite multi-arts festival, which congregates hundreds of artists from across music, comedy, cabaret, literature, poetry and visual art in the beautiful setting of Henham Park in Suffolk has been a critical smash. This year’s line-up, which included a special guest appearance from classical music superstar Lang Lang, feted author Siri Hustvedt and two wildly popular sessions with physicist and TV presenter Brian Cox, was widely acknowledged as the best yet.

Writing in his review of Latitude, Guardian journalist Paul Lester remarked that it is now a “festival that is starting to feel like a serious alternative to Glastonbury”.The Telegraph – “Latitude, it was clear, is still much more than a music festival.”

The Guardian – “It might have been the muddiest but the seventh Latitude was also the best”

The Financial Times – “Low key headliners – don’t believe it”

The Observer – Festival “Dads Show Their Attitude at Latitude”

The Evening Standard – “Lang Lang charmed the Sunday brunch audience

The Telegraph – “Latitude, it was clear, is still much more than a music festival

GQ – “Where else this summer could one watch a set by Django Django, stand-up from Russell Kane and a BAFTA talk on screenwriting from Abi Morgan in the same weekend?

The Independent – “Weller gives it some welly as boutique festival leaps into big time
