Gavin Turk interviewed by Sky News

Gavin Turk, who is currently exhibiting at Griffin Gallery in group exhibition I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper, was interviewed by Sky News. Turk discusses his work, influences and his current obsession, the white van, which he sees as a “cultural icon” . His work Large Transit Disaster (Blue, Copper & Ochre), at Griffin Gallery, is a large screenprint paying homage to the white van that also references Andy Warhol’s famous Death and Disaster series and Robert Rauschenberg’s screenprint collages.

The exhibition’s co-curator Catherine Loewe is also interviewed. See the interviews here.

I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper is at Griffin Gallery, London until 24th February.
