Conchita Wurst to launch autobiography at London Book Fair

Conchita Wurst will launch her official autobiography at London Book Fair 2015.

Conchita exploded onto our screens as the Austrian winner of The Eurovision Song Contest in 2014. Since then the bearded drag queen has taken the world by storm. A mouthpiece for the international LBGT community, Conchita has become an inspiration to millions of people. A muse for both Karl Lagerfeld and Jean Paul Gaultier, giver of TED talks, and world ambassador for peace, love and tolerance, Conchita has become an international figure in less than a year.

Written in her own words,  Being Conchita: We Are Unstoppable is the story of how Thomas Neuwirth became Conchita. For the first time Conchita tells the story of her childhood and teenage years, her passions for singing and fashion from an early age and how determination and the love and support of her family enabled her to overcome discrimination and intolerance and follow her dream of becoming a star.

Conchita will attend London Book Fair at Kensington Olympia on Wednesday 15th April 2015. A photo call for press will take place at 2.15pm.

Being Conchita: We Are Unstoppable is published by John Blake on May 11th.
