Call for Submissions now open for the Paul Foot Award
The Paul Foot Award for Investigative and Campaigning Journalism 2013 is now accepting entries. Sponsored by Private Eye, and now in its ninth year, the award honours investigative and campaigning journalism in the UK in memory of revered investigative journalist Paul Foot.
Submissions will be accepted for material that has been published in a UK newspaper or magazine, or on a website between 1st November 2012 and 31st October 2013. No broadcast material is eligible.
Individual journalists, teams of journalists or entire publications may enter and entries will be considered for anything from single pieces to entire campaigns. Journalists are welcome to enter up to three separate campaigns.
The winning entry will be awarded £5,000 with the runner up entries each receiving £1,000 at a ceremony to be held in London in February 2014. The shortlist will be announced in February 2014.
The deadline for entries is Tuesday 12th November 2013, 5pm. Early submissions are welcome.
