Anne-Marie Duff, Billy Howle and Will Poulter to Narrate Upcoming Classics on Audible
Anne Marie Duff (four time BAFTA-nominee, Shameless, Sex Education, Suffragette), Billy Howle (Dunkirk, Star Wars: Episode IX, On Chesil Beach) and Will Poulter (BAFTA-winner, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Midsommar, The Maze Runner) have been announced as the narrators of three nineteenth century classics coming soon to Audible.
Released on 19th March 2020, The Woman In White by Wilkie Collins is narrated by rising star Billy Howle. Best known for his roles alongside Saoirse Ronan in Dominic Cooke’s On Chesil Beach, as Rey’s father in Star Wars: Episode IX and most recently as Caden Finch, starring alongside Richard Gere and Helen McCrory in the BBC’s MotherFatherSon. Regarded as among the first detective novels, The Woman In White was published in 1959, and centres on the unequal position of married women in British law at the time. Released on 21st May 2020, Crime And Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky will be narrated by BAFTA-winner, Will Poulter. Best known for his roles in Charlie Brooker’s sinister, interactive Bandersnatch and Ari Aster’s cult horror Midsommar, Poulter will narrate Dostoevsky’s acclaimed 1866 psychological novel about an impoverished ex-student who plots to kill a pawnbroker for her money.
