Midas PR’s Account Director Daniel Freeman to speak at FutureBook 2015

Just how important is PR and marketing for self-published and published authors? That is one of the questions that will be hotly debated by our Account Director, Daniel Freeman, when he joins an expert panel at this year’s inaugural Author Day, part of the FutureBook conference.

The panel, What publishers can do: industry interests chaired by Philip Jones, Editor of The Bookseller, is one of four marketing panels taking place as part of the ‘The State of the Author: Part One’.

Drawing on real life experiences of working with some of UK’s best-selling authors and publishing houses, Daniel will offer his expert insight into what makes a successful PR and marketing campaign for an author, the role of the publisher and how the 21st century author should approach publicity.

The event takes place on 30 November at the Royal College of General Practioners.  Also speaking on the panel are Naomi Bacon, Sara Lloyd, Dan Kieran, Nick Barreto and Sophia Blackwell.
