Jouve expands horizons with Midas

The brief: To establish a presence for France-based Jouve in the international publishing media and beyond and position the company as a household name in the fastpaced digital publishing world.

Strategy and implementation: Midas created a six month PR campaign geared towards raising the profile of the company and its management team, focusing specifically on publishing, technology and business press. Much of the PR activity was also timed to coincide with the London Book Fair where Midas were tasked with attracting as many journalists as possible to the Jouve stand. There was also a social media element to the campaign as Midas launched Jouve?s English LinkedIN and Twitter activity.

Results: Jouve?s PR campaign generated impressive results across a wide range of media. News stories were regularly placed in the major publishing titles, such as Publishers Weekly, the Bookseller, Publishers Lunch and BookBrunch, and technology-focused publications like Information Today, Information World Review and eContent Magazine. Company profiles and interviews were featured in Business Matters, Sourcing Focus, Business Wings and a three page feature on Jouve?s British National Library ran in specialist library publication, UKSG Serials. Midas also secured six on-stand journalist briefings for Jouve at the London Book Fair
and successfully launched and expanded the company?s English Twitter feed, which it still works on to this date.
