Tory Lyne-Pirkis has been with Midas for nine years and heads up Midas PR’s live events and visual arts teams, looking after clients including Latitude Festival, Henley Festival, Saatchi Gallery, Griffin Gallery and Artes Mundi.
Tory is also an experienced book PR having worked with a number of high profile authors over the years including Bryan Adams, Charles Saatchi, Dick Van Dyke, Chris Tarrant, David Bailey, Charley Boorman, Conchita Wurst, Alan Kitching and Amanda Owen “The Yorkshire Shepherdess.” Tory has also worked with literary fiction authors including Patrick Ness, Daniel Kehlmann, Umberto Eco, Pat McCabe and Joel Dicker.
Tory was named one of The Bookseller’s Rising Stars of 2016 in recognition of her contribution to the UK publishing industry. She has and had four PR campaigns shortlisted for the PPC Annual Publicity Awards. Tory teaches a course on publicity for The Guardian Masterclass series and is regularly invited to speak about PR at industry events including London Book Fair. Tory is also a tutor for the Kingston University MA in Publishing.
