What makes an unforgettable literary hero? / Cheltenham teams up with Mills & Boon
29th September 2009
Is it the debonair charm of Rupert Campbell Black, or the brooding, wild mystery of Heathcliff? Perhaps Richard Sharpe's dashing bravery makes you swoon, or do you prefer the quiet intensity of Captain Corelli?
The vital ingredients required to create the ultimate romantic hero on the page are up for discussion at The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival's event on Literary Heroes on 13th October, with a panel hosted by leading romantic fiction publisher Mills & Boon.
The panel discussing this hotly contested topic will include best-selling authors Katie Fforde, Sharon Kendrick, and Stella Duffy.
The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival takes place from 9th to 18th October 2009, with the Mills & Boon event kicking off at 4pm on 13th October in the Town Hall.
In the lead up to the event, the Festival is giving you the chance to vote. To take part, visit www.cheltenhamfestivals.com/literaryheroes.
