If you've been intrigued by Dan Brown, gripped by John Case and spent many hours immersed in the science of Michael Crichton, you are going to love Adrian Dawson!

Adrian Dawson's explosive debut thriller Codex stormed the iBookstore charts, heading straight to the Number 2 spot in 'Mystery & Thrillers' in its first week of release, rarely vacating the Top Ten since launch. It also raced as high as Number 5 in the overall UK iBook charts. Having proved such a huge hit with digital readers, the book is out now in paperback and getting some great reviews:

"Many and varied are the thrillers which vie for readers' attention these days, so something special is needed for a novel to rise above the general run. Adrian Dawson quickly demonstrates that he has the smarts to do just that with Codex, which has already created something of a stir in its iBook incarnation...With the globetrotting narrative here - along with well-orchestrated bursts of action - the market targeted here is clearly the straightforward one colonised by Dan Brown, but in actual fact, Adrian Dawson is a better writer (if anything, closer in style to Michael Crichton)...And it's refreshing in a blockbuster thriller such as Codex that one doesn't have to put one's intelligence on the back burner"

CRIME TIME, JANUARY 2011

Synopsis

Jack Bernstein is Chairman and CEO of IntelliSoft, the world's largest Artificial Intelligence Corporation, a company on the brink of a global launch which will offer every child on earth free access to the power of the most advanced computer system in the world.  When his daughter, Lara, is killed in a terrorist bombing aboard Flight 320, Jack has no reason to believe she was the primary target, or that she had been specially selected by a group who believed she held the key to a religious secret that had been building for centuries, and whose explosive resolution is imminent.

Having been summoned via a strangely coded message to a meeting with a man known only as 'Simon', Jack soon finds himself unwittingly drawn in to a global game of murder and deceit. He is challenged with cracking a series of complex codes for which he will get two things in return - the truth about his daughter's death, and the location of the son she left behind... the grandson he didn't know he had.

Jack is unaware that he has been expertly manipulated for the past decade by people who not only murdered his daughter, but also his wife. IntelliSoft has the one thing the group require - advanced computer systems capable of cracking the most complex codal system known to man.  If Jack does not crack the code before they do, many more people will die; and the Saviour they are looking for will not be the Saviour they receive.
