Paul Foot Award announced 2nd November / Sponsored by Private Eye and The Guardian

Sponsored by Private Eye and The Guardian and now in its sixth year, The Paul Foot Award 2010 honours campaigning journalism in memory of revered investigative journalist Paul Foot.
Individual journalists, teams of journalists or entire publications are eligible to enter. The closing date is 1 September. The winner will be awarded £5,000, with five runners-up each receiving £1,000, to be announced at a ceremony in London on 2nd November.
The 2010 judges are: Brian MacArthur (Chair), Ian Hislop, Alan Rusbridger, Heather Brooke, Bill Hagerty and Clare Fermont.
