GQ celebrates The BookBox Press

The BookBox Press is a new venture masterminded by specialist book designer Penny Mishcon. Collaborating with the individual client, The BookBox Press researches, designs and creates bespoke books to celebrate special occasions or people.
With a background in Art Direction, publishing, book design, printing and book-binding, Penny Mishcon has brought together all her skills to produce beautiful, bespoke, hand-made ‘book-objects'.
For each item produced, Penny works closesly with the client and thoroughly researches each chosen subject. The book is then created using The BookBox Press's specialist skills in letterpress printing and bookbinding. Their process is not formulaic and each and every commission is treated as an exceptional design and work of art - the book taking the form most appropriate to its subject matter. The end result is a unique book-object - a much treasured gift and heirloom.
