Authors celebrate independence / 14th - 21st 2010

Top name authors will turn sales assistants, host literary lunches and take part in reading groups about their own books during this year's Independent Booksellers Week, which runs from 14th to 21st June 2010.
Hundreds of bookshops all over the country have signed up to take part in this week-long celebration of the independent. The week is designed to showcase how the 'indies' provide a distinctive, personal service for book lovers and the unique role they play in their communities.
Independent Booksellers Week (IBW), which is supported by authors such as Anita Brookner and Michael Morpurgo, was established to celebrate and showcase independent bookshops nationwide.
