18th March 2010
To mark Britain's favourite poet, Philip Larkin, and his connections with the city of Hull, a series of giant toads are being created and placed around the city.
Watch the video below from BBC Look North News for more details
The toads will be decorated by artists, school children and community groups, and form the Larkin Trail of key sites around Hull and East Yorkshire that are associated with Philip Larkin. The toads and trail are part of a year-long intiative, Larkin25, which celebrates the life and work of Philip Larkin, 25 years after his death.
