Thanks to the iPod, audiobook sales are soaring and actors are queuing up to make them. From Brad Pitt and Oprah Winfrey, to John Cleese and Stephen Fry, audiobooks are attracting big name contributors due to their popularity on iTunes, reports The Sunday Telegraph.

'We are constantly working to increase the range and number of titles available in audio, offering an extensive and diverse range to our members', says Chris McKee, managing director of Audible, the UK's largest provider of downloadable audiobooks with over 30,000 titles available to download each month, from prices as little as £3.99.
