Perfect Daughter Publication Day
Today Amanda Prowse’s ninth novel Perfect Daughter is published by Head of Zeus (£12.99). Amanda is the bestselling author of several much-beloved novels, including the Number 1 bestseller What Have I Done?, and was recently Writer in Residence for ITV’s This Morning. Her writing has been described as “Captivating, heart-breaking and superbly written” (Closer), “Deeply moving and inspiring” (Daily Mail) as well as “uplifting and positive” (Hello).
This week Perfect Daughter was listed as Heat’s Top Five Books You Should Read Right Now and was described as “powerful and emotional family drama that packs a real punch”.
Perfect Daughter tells the story of Jacks Morgan who puts her aspirations aside to care for her family. Jacks is trapped in a marriage that has lost its sparkle and she spends her busy days, running up and down the stairs caring for her two kids and her ailing mum who has dementia. Perfect Daughter is an inspirational tale which reflects the lives of hundreds of ordinary women who have priorities their families over their personal careers and dreams.
“The story is one of hope and optimism,” says Amanda Prowse, “It’s about finding joy in the small stuff that can make you truly happy.”
Perfect Daughter will be launched tonight at Waterstones Cribbs Causeway in Bristol where Amanda will be signing copies of her new book.
