OUT NOW: The Lawn Job by Chuck Caruso

Today Midas PR and Cloud Lodge Books are celebrating the release of The Lawn Job by Chuck Caruso, the author’s debut novel.

Chuck Caruso, a teacher of 19th Century American Literature and Creative Writing at Marylhurst University, is an established writer of crime and horror short stories, who has also written two short screenplays.

The protagonist of The Lawn Job, ex-con man Craig Collins, is scratching a living mowing lawns for a fancy clientele – not without a little petty theft here and there. But when the lady of the house, wife of a celebrity pizzeria owner, “Big Gino” Pasarelli, starts becoming too flirty Collins gets the sack. However, when Collins learns of Pasarelli’s own indiscretions, he begins to plot his revenge. Together with his sometimes girlfriend Juana, a transgender stripper, they lure Pasarelli into a sex-tape scandal.

With grit, dark humour and energy, The Lawn Job is a twisted tale which keeps the heart pounding until the final page.

Tonight, 6:30 at Waterstones in Kensington, Chuck Caruso will be in conversation with Alexis

Gregory. Standard tickets are only £3. Book your ticket on the Waterstones website here: https://www.waterstones.com/events/an-evening-with-chuck-caruso/london-kensington
