Jess Glynne opens Henley Festival 2017

Last night on Wednesday 5th July 2017, Grammy-award-winning Jess Glynne opened the 2017 edition of Henley Festival on the iconic Floating Stage. Set against the stunning backdrop of Henley-on-Thames, the “Rather Be” star played to the Henley audience on one of the hottest days of the year.

Also performing last night was R&B superstar Geno Washington and comedians from Matt Forde, Stephen K Amos and The Chase’s Paul Sinha. The show, of course, was stolen by Henley Festival’s incredible setting and glamorous guests. The black-tie festival-goers were the first to try Moet Chandon’s champagne vending machine, a UK festival first, which they sipped while watching the spectacular firework display over the River Thames.

Elsewhere the festival-goers were entertained by a series of acrobats, cabaret artists and entertainers, while live art took place with Mr Doodle and textile performance artist Harriet Riddell.
